Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that today's
chemotherapy has been postponed. Joe woke up not feeling very
well. He had a fever and chills. We took him down to the
hospital and he threw up in the car on the way down. They are
going to give him a transfusion (which had been planned for
before the chemotherapy) and then I think send him home. (I am
writing this from home. I ran home to clean up the car while he
was getting the transfusion). Joe's white blood count was decent
yesterday (1.8)so an infection is not quite so dangerous right
now as when his white count is really low (0.1 or 0.2 like it
was last week). Not sure when they will look to do the next
chemo treatment. They told us to call tomorrow to figure out a
plan. I will let everyone know.Tom |
