Joe finished his
latest one night chemo treatment and everything went well. He
didn't get sick and was back to his old self having a good time
with all the Doctors and Nurses and of course Charles, Ramon and
the Floor Cleaner crew. We even made it out of the hospital by
noon the next day. Hopefully things will be just as smooth at
home for the next couple weeks.
The big
excitement while we were there was the Rookies from the Buffalo
Bills were at the hospital Tuesday afternoon for a pizza party
with the kids and we got to meet them (including Ashton Youboty
for you Ohio State fans) and got some of them to sign a T-Shirt
for Joe. Joe and Lisa were also shown on the Channel 7 local
news at 11pm with one of the players signing Joe's shirt. Joe
thought it was pretty cool to watch himself on TV (we taped it
and showed it to him when we got home yesterday).
There has been
some confusion regarding Joe's schedule going forward but this
is what it is going to be (assuming foolishly that there are no
more delays)
10/10 - Five night
11/1 - One night (this was pushed back 1
day so Joe would be home for Halloween)
11/27 - Five night (this was pushed back 1
week so we would avoid being in the hospital for Thanksgiving)
